Time Control: The Game
Introduction:

Time Control is a fast-paced strategy and tactics board game for 2 to 4 players, ages 12 and up. Players send their Time Agents into the past to attack the histories of their opponents. Changes in history become Time Waves that rush forward in time, increasing in magnitude, until they explode into today as problems. Time Agents may attempt to intercept these Time Waves and diffuse them, or even try to turn a stack of possible problems into possible solutions! But beware; it is dangerous to get into the way of a Time Wave, and doubly so to get in the way of enemy Time Agents!

Accumulating problems has an immediate effect on how players may play the game; their abilities are curtailed and their options get limited. Players may sacrifice their Time Agents or other resources to "solve" problems, or may attempt to live with them and husband their resources. But beware; too many problems of the wrong kind and you lose!
Simultaneity: Whose Turn Is It?

Everybody's! There are two turns in Time Control, the player turn and the Time Wave turn. On the Time Wave turn, Time Waves move and grow and attack, eventually disgorging their cargo of problems in today. During the player turn, any player may move or use their Time Agents! All actions are considered simultaneous, and any Time Agents may be immediately interrupted by any other, who may also be interrupted, ad infinitum. Time Agents may travel back through time a few picoseconds or a few millennia at a moments thought, and so pinning them down, or escaping from them, can be difficult. However, the player who absolutely, positively needs to get things done can take Time Control.
Time Control: Take It and Take Charge!

Players blind bid each other for Time Control, either spending their precious Time Control points or resorting to the powerful but unpredictable Fate Deck. Winners dictate cannot be interrupted and dictate what action can be completed; losers just watch it happen. Careful; a player who takes time control can also dictate the action of another player, forcing their hand!
